Kyra joined the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) as an Advancement Consultant in August 2019. Currently serving as Senior Advancement Officer, Kyra supports CHLPI’s development and strategic communication efforts, including managing press and media requests.
Prior to joining CHLPI, Kyra served as Grants Administrator for Philadelphia Health Partnership (PHP) where she managed the grantmaking process, assisted with the development and launch of a five-year strategic plan, and supported communication efforts both internally and externally. Kyra has worked with several other organizations in various capacities, including as a grant report writer for Keystone Development Partnership’s union apprenticeship programs, a marketing and outreach coordinator for Garbage to Gardens, and as a foreign English teacher at schools in Thailand, Vietnam, and Colombia. Kyra received her B.A. in Communications from Temple University and a certificate in ascending leadership from Bryn Mawr’s Graduate College of Social Work and Social Research.
