Kokomo City: Documentary Screening

Come join Lambda and the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) to observe Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR). We will be screening the documentary “Kokomo City” by D. Smith, which uses interviews to provide a small snapshot into the lives of several Black trans women who are sex workers.

Prior to the screening we will have a brief discussion of the local roots that spurred TDOR, the gender-affirming care work being done by CHLPI, and the opportunity to hear from Ryan Rasdall about his pro bono work at Mintz with Folx Health, a queer and trans affirming health care program.

Snacks will be provided.
