Virtual Town Hall #2: Privacy in the Time of COVID-19

ACLU Massachusetts
April 30, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join the ACLU of Massachusetts for a virtual town hall where advocates will discuss the latest updates on the ACLU’s work during the coronavirus pandemic and share ways for supporters to get involved.

The second of three virtual town halls in this series will feature:

  • Kade Crockford, Director of the Technology for Liberty Program at the ACLU of Massachusetts, who will discuss the state of digital privacy and surveillance during the pandemic, including updates on the ACLU’s long-term technology and privacy campaigns.
  • Kade will be joined by Robert Greenwald, clinical professor of law and faculty director at the Harvard Law School Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation.

We must ensure that our response to the pandemic is grounded in science and not politicized and that civil rights and civil liberties in the Commonwealth are protected and upheld to the greatest extent possible given the advice of public health experts.

The event will take place on Zoom. The duration will be 30 minutes, including a Q&A.

The event will also be streamed simultaneously on Facebook and YouTube.

To sign up, complete the registration form below.
