Dr. Deirdre Tobias, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a nutrition and obesity epidemiologist and a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030 will share insight about the scientific review process, how the Advisory Committee that informs the Dietary Guidelines arrived at their recommendations, and the role of health equity in shaping the next set of Dietary Guidelines.
