The Cambridge Innovation Center is hosting Green Innovation Industry Night in Kendall Square. Registration is free, and there will be food, drinks, and panels on green innovation in areas such as clean energy and food waste.
6:15pm: The Possibilities in Ending Food Waste
In a fortuitous coalescence of policy, entrepreneurialism, and social efforts, Greater Boston has become a hub of unprecedented initiatives in food waste reduction. Tackling food waste has proven to be smart business, smart for cities, and an essential for maintaining natural resources and reducing greenhouse gasses. The panel will offer a variety of perspectives on interrupting the food waste stream and how the movement can grow.
