Good Laws, Good Food: Putting Food Policy to Work for Our Communities
This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 credit.TM
As more and more people across the United States become aware of issues surrounding their food and the food system—such as where their food comes from, the nutritional quality of and access to food, and how to support those that grow food—some will be moved to take action to address these issues. Many of these issues are influenced by the laws and policies that currently exist in the United States; therefore, advocacy for better policies is a critical part of that action.Good Law, Good Food: Putting Food Policy to Work for Our Communities introduces participants to ways they can become advocates for a better food system in their communities.
Through examples of innovative policies from other communities, this webinar hopes to educate and inspire advocates from across the country to get involved and make the food system better.
