Feed the People! Jan Dutkiewicz and Gabriel Rosenberg on How Industrial Food Can Save Us All (Book Talk)

Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic
March 24 @ 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm
Harvard Law School, Wasserstein Hall, WCC 2009 + Google Map

Join the Food Law and Policy Clinic for a conversation with Jan Dutkiewicz and Gabriel Rosenberg, authors of Feed the People! Why Industrial Food Is Good and How to Make It Even Better. In the book, they challenge mainstream critiques of the industrial food system and interrogate the push to prioritize local, artisanal foods as a solution to the food system’s harmful effects on climate and health. In doing so, they hope to persuade us to appreciate modern technology’s positive impact on the affordability, availability, and variety of foods we know and love. Perhaps most importantly, they all but guarantee that Waffle House finally receives the respect that it deserves.

Date/Time: Tuesday, March 24th 12:30pm – 1:15pm ET

Location: WCC 2009

This event is co-sponsored by the Food Law Society and the Animal Law Society. Lunch will be served!
