Community Based Interdisciplinary Research to Inform Policy: The Case of Lead and Drinking Water in the Delta
Join us for a discussion with John J. Green, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for Population Studies at the University of Mississippi where he also serves as Director of the Society and Health Minor and Affiliated Faculty with the School of Law. John’s research and teaching interests include the intersections of community development, population health, and policy. He is a long-time partner of the Mississippi Delta Project and now leads the Delta Directions Consortium.
Lunch will be served.
10th Annual Mississippi Delta Celebration Reception

Join us for this annual celebration of the work students and faculty from schools around Harvard University are doing to improve economic, health, and social conditions in the Mississippi Delta! The event is open to anyone from the Harvard community – from those who have worked in the region to those who are simply interested in learning more about it. There will be ample time for mingling and networking.
Hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served.
