Peter Lehner and Emily Broad Leib in conversation on Environmental Impacts of Our Food Systems
Harvard Alumni for Climate and the Environment (HACE) Book Club engages alumni in discussion of climate and the diverse issues and people touched by rapid and often unpredictable environmental changes.
On Thursday November 13, they are hosting an open Book Club, with author Peter Lehner (College, ‘80) and FLPC’s Prof Emily Broad Leib (JD ‘08, HLS) discussing legal and policy hurdles to move toward climate-neutral agriculture and how to carve a path forward.

Peter Lehner is co-author of Farming for Our Future, Managing Attorney for Sustainable Food and Farming at EarthJustice, and was Executive Director at NRDC.
Emily Broad Leib, Clinical Professor of Law, is Founding Director of the Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic and Director of the HLS Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation. Her work on food waste and recovery is now global and engages partners in more than twenty countries.
