Harvard Law School, Wasserstein Hall, WCC B010 + Google Map

(The Impossible Burger, prepared by Eat at Jumbo’s, will be served. Be sure to come at the start to make sure you get one!)

Have you heard of plant-based meat that bleeds? Current factory farming practices do not only raise health safety concerns but also many environmental concerns. Should the world population increase their meat consumption at current speed, we will deteriorate sustainability of our very own globe.

Nicole Negowetti, a Food Law and Policy Clinic Instructor, who holds an expertise in alternative meat innovations, and Matt Hayek, a Farmed Law & Policy Fellow, who has an expertise in environmental effects of farming will present a case for these new plant-based meat innovations that strikingly resembles real meats and discuss regulatory options for this new industry.

Impossible burger (one of the newest plant-based meat inventions that has attracted much media attention due to its similarity to actual meat) will be served! Come out and get one!
